We have been on Highlands many times with no issues. In fact I had brain fade when unsettling the villa alarm by putting in the wrong number three times. The security company then phoned immediately and asked for the security phrase ( only the owner will know this) so they called the police and they were at the door within three minutes.
We cleared things up with the nice officer ( who BTW had stepped back from the door and unclipped his holster before I opened it) .
This unfortunate mistake made us feel even more secure with the fact that the officer appeared very quickly, so if there was an incident ( and never has been in the many years we were there) it would be responded to quickly.

Excellent area, Berry Town Centre close by with shops and pubs and restaurants . Twenty mins to Disney.
We got our villas from the Dibb advertisers.👍

Edit Just read the comments about building works, so mycomments may be a wee bit out of date.🙂

Thanks Radcliffe!
It will be our third and probably last visit to Florida (although I’ve said that before!) so we want to get more relaxation/pool time in this time .

This is good to know as we tend to use the 192 restaurants for dinner most evenings.

We really enjoyed Glenbrook villas when we stayed in 2009, although don't think there were many shops/restaurants walkable. It may have changed now though of course. Hoping to stay at Highlands reserve next year, so glad everyone has such positive reviews!

Is the Tiki bar by the communal pool? (Question from DH)
The Tiki bar is indeed located at the Clubhouse by the communal pool.
