Im struggling

Not sure why I’m posting but you’ve all been so kind in the past.

I’m just really struggling. I’m so anxious. I’m struggling with the dark in case someone is in it. My head is so noisy and sometimes I hear words when I’m not concentrating on them and when I do concentrate on them they’re always angry and shouting and commanding me to not take my meds, telling me I’m an awful person and other similar stuff. I can’t stop thinking about self harming.

My dads partner contacted my psychiatrist last week and I’m just waiting on them phoning her back or a letter coming through for an appointment.

I just feel terrible, nowhere near as bad I felt last year but it’s getting close. I’m trying so hard to stay above the water and it’s just getting more difficult.

Please don’t wait any longer for a phone call/appointment. Insist on an appointment with your doctor tomorrow or if you are desperate tonight go to A&E especially if you are thinking to self harm.

Keep talking on here. We may not have the answers, but we are all on your side. You may not feel it right now, but you are strong - you’ve got through this before. I’m so glad you have support in real life, but, if it helps, put it on here. The darkest part of the night is just before dawn.

You're so brave asking for help, you can do this , ring samaritans ,let them help you. Dont give up we are here.

You are not an awful person...it’s your mind playing tricks..please you must keep taking your medication...I’m no expert but I think you might need to speak to someone just now. Can you go onto NHS24 and see what mental health services they have..Do you have a CPN you can call?
Please don’t try to deal with this on your own..even call your GP first thing and try to get an emergency appointment...tell them how you are feeling...
I know you probably don’t feel it just now, but things will get better..don’t struggle alone..

Please keep taking your meds, don't let the voices put you down. You’re amazing for talking on here and there are lots of people on here who you can talk to.
Could you possibly chase up your appointment or ask your dads partner to do it for you? X

I don’t know what to say but take the meds and don’t listen to the voices, I’m sending lots of hugs to you. I have anxiety but mine is to do with social situations and overthinking, go see the dr or go to A&E if you can’t cope Xx ❤️

Thanks guys. I did take my meds today.

My psychiatrist only works Tuesday Wednesday. So got to wait until at least then. I’ve waited since last week so what’s another few days.
