when will virgin holidays cancel, does anyone know?

We've received our cancellation email for the 16 July...

We would be happy to postpone rather than cancel but our dates are around 12 months out, is it possible to choose these dates or do you have to stay within the 11 month window as you do when making a new booking?

This is really interesting as I was wondering if they would do this for us? We have reward flights for 31st July and would look to possibly move it to Easter. Was virgin showing reward availability or did they just move you anyway?

We have flights for the 26th July Man-Mco with Virgin. Charter travel still won't tell us they are cancelled but Virgin themselves have posted on twitter no flights till 6th Aug haven't they. There is defo no chance is there?,

Got our cancellation email this afternoon from Virgin for 30th July 😢 unsure whether to get a refund or voucher 🤷🏻 Would like to rebook but it’s so much more expensive for next year! Need time to think 🤯

A Voucher ties you to one company. A refund means that you are free to chase what is best for you.. Or hold off if prices are crazy, keeping the money in your pocket.

Some of the prices that Virgin are asking for next Easter are crazy and imho, designed to negate the value of the 10s of thousands of credit notes extant as far as is possible.
