Double Tier Points on a BA Holiday (not double miles)

Got an email from BA this morning about a new offer of double tier points for BA Executive Club members on any BA Holiday between 9th June 2021 and 30th September 2021. This includes trips already booked but it must be a full package holiday not for example a flight with 1 night hotel booked etc - so read the terms and conditions carefully if you think it applies to something you have already or wish to book.

“It’s you that makes us fly. And as the world gradually opens, we’re determined to show you just how much you mean to us.
That’s why, as an Executive Club Member, you could now earn double the Tier Points on flights taken as part of a package holiday with British Airways Holidays, between 9 June 2021 and 30 September 2021.

To qualify, you’ll need to book your trip before 21 September 2021, and this includes any holidays you’ve already booked with us. So, as well as enjoying that well-earned summer escape, you’ll top up your Tier Point balance handsomely - helping you rise through the Tiers to unlock additional Club benefits, such as priority check-in and lounge access. And as we’ve reduced the amount of Tier Points you need for each Tier by 25%, that next level could now be just one flight away.

And remember, if your plans do change, our Customer Promise allows you the flexibility to change your package holiday booking or cancel for a voucher with just three weeks’ notice. Plus, with low deposits from £60 per person and ATOL protection, you can really kick back and enjoy that carefree break – while racking up the Tier Points, of course.

After all, you’ve earned more than just a holiday,”

A few key criteria (there are others)

> “Full package” can be flight+hotel, flight+car or flight+hotel+car, but the hotel/car has to be for the full duration of the trip (and has to be booked with the flight, not added later as a separate transaction).

> Only applies to bookings of 5 nights or more

> Minimum 2 people on booking, so not for solo travellers.

> Only applies to trips originating in the UK. Members based elsewhere should not have received the email anyway.

TP boosts are a rarity, and for anyone with a long haul holiday booked / planned in business class that meets the criteria, a single trip should get everyone on the booking to BA Silver status with the current reduced thresholds (and if you had a domestic connection, it would get you there even without reduced thresholds). Would also go a fair way towards earning or retaining Gold for those who will fly enough to be aiming for that.

Edited at 07:35 PM. Reason: Add UK origin requirement

I was looking at this earlier, unfortunately we can’t make use of it due to the t&cs.

We’ve got flight only in august and would have added a hotel for one night but the hotel or car has to be for the duration. I looked at the car hire but they wanted nearly 3 times what I’m paying with Andy.

We already have another BA holiday for October so out of the offer dates and will be booking another soon but for next year.

It’s a great deal though if you already have a booking and are travelling in club.

We’ll get to silver this year after our October trip anyway but I think if we could have used this deal we’d have made gold.
