So tonight Virgin confirmed our flight was cancelled

I called Disney and they have been just fabulous - no points into holding - I have quite a few to use by May 2022 but just glad not in holding.

Gutted I am not going but it is what it is - now for future planning

March UY and yes I have until May 2022 to use them.

Both - 143 from 2019 and 200 from 2020 - all now expire May 2022

do you know if those 143pts are from your home resort, as when I tried to book using my 2019 pts they said I could only book them at the 7 month window. I am trying to find other members who may have the same problem because others are saying they can book at the 11 month window

Sorry to hijack this post but was going to ask a question re holding ? I have reservations at BCV on 16 August and I believe ideally we will have to cancel after 31 days otherwise they go into holding.

Our UY is April does this mean if we cancelled within 31 days can I still make a reservation in this UY for dates in Summer 2022 ? Could I access these points to sell by April or after April.

We have been members since 2002 but never used holding sorry for being thick but tried to speak to MS but gave up after 50 mins.

You need to keep the points out of holding either by cancelling 31 days or more out or the more risky method of pleading your case with MS.

If they are Apr '21 points you could cancel, bank them into your next use year and then use them for Summer '22.

Thank you much appreciated currently using 374 points so it is quite a gamble to extend this deadline with the hope that Virgin will be flying by mid August.
