Heathrow T3 Closed for the foreseeable?

Hey Everyone,

We had a hotel + Parking Meet & Greet booked for T3 on Oct 31st 2021 at Hilton Garden Inn at Heathrow.

Today they emailed me to say they will be cancelling and refunding as they can’t amend bookings because T3 won’t be available and I need to rebook T2.

They clearly know something. Virgins online account still says T3.

I was holding out hope T3 would be open by then as we are flying upper for the first time so it’s going to suck missing out on the lounge.

Heathrow have said they are preparing terminal 4 for red countries so they can open terminal 3.

Thanks for the info.

Hilton seem pretty snappy at wanting to refund me and pretty much gave me not other option.

I don’t want to cancel and rebook I f I’m going to have to then do the same thing again if T3 does open.

We are also flying VA Upper class and booked Hilton Garden Inn on 9th Oct. I haven’t had anything from them cancelling the hotel as yet. Gutted if we can’t use the lounge!

Just received a reply to an online chat I had today with the booking agent. Apparently the hotel is cancelling all bookings but because it is a leisure booking they are advising to book again as hotel will be open! Not sure whether to chance it again
