Booked 2 lots of flights just in case

Anyone else booked 2 lots of flights just in case?
Obviously we’ve already had flights cancelled from last year like many others😢 We’re hoping to fly with BA, Heathrow to MCO 24th Sept 2021. But who knows if that will happen🤔
Like many others probably do I scroll through flight prices regularly and have seen some very reasonable prices for 2022😄
So we’ve jumped in and booked Sept 2022 flights with Tui, Bristol to Melbourne Florida🤞
Our reason for double booking is thoughts that flight may go crazy next year if things return to anywhere near normal🤞Anyone else doing the same?

Have you booked flight only with tui?

Just wondering how you’ve booked sept 2022 flights already ?

We booked with Aer Lingus and a package with BA (£150 deposit) for the same dates in August. Aer Lingus have cancelled so that has worked for us so far.

Also booked BA packages for late November 21 and April 22. These are all £150 deposit and balance doesn't have to be paid until 3 weeks before departure. Bound to get on one of them, maybe 2.

We have BA in October and December 2021 and Virgin May 2022.
Surely we'll get to do one of these!

Currently got 1 August, 17 August (in case 1st gets cancelled) and 18 December booked! I’m hoping at least 1 will go ahead.

You can carry over as a voucher if I remember correctly. Can't remember how long it's valid for.
