Packing cubes?
Morning
Who uses packing cubes? I travel solo but often move resorts, mainly between disney and universal. Next year I plan on split stays within Disney re DVC rental. Thinking I could probably use these for convenience? Thank you Sarah |

We use them but mainly for road trips. If I was staying at the same hotel for a week or more I wouldn't bother. Mind you, I find clothes are less wrinkled when rolled up and put into the cubes.

Love them for that reason. I don't really find them space saving, but the convenience of grouping items together is well worth it. And I potentially have a split stay on my next trip and will definitely be separating things based on resort so while at Universal, I can just grab those cubes out and leave all the Disney stuff still packed. But even as a Disney only example, I'll group together my MK themed items (t-shirts, ears, etc) in one, AK in another, etc. Makes getting ready so fast as I know where everything is.
If you don't want to invest in packing cubes just yet though, you can try this method of packing with any kind of container or small bag though, e.g. cheap ziplocks. |

I do even for weekends away both here and in Europe Alao on road trips
I tend to pack a whole days outfit for both of us in each one can usually get 2 days in one cube Yes I know DH should pack his own but we’d never get anywhere if he did I do have a bit of OCD so it suits me to know what’s where and no rumbling in cases I just lift one cube out use what’s in it and then repack the dirty stuff back in them And no one dares mess with the system |

I’m not sure I would use them if travelling solo. I find them very useful packing for a family of 5. Everybody can have their own cube and then when we get to where we are staying I just hand them their cube. It makes unpacking so much quicker than having to empty a case with everyone’s things muddled up.

I use them whenever we go away, even if just one for night. I like that they keep everything together, it just seems tidier to me.

We have used packing cubes for several years now and think they are terrific, wouldn’t fancy flying without using them.

We do road trips and they are the most useless and frustrating thing to use.
Unless you are a person who wants to plan what you will wear each day in advance they are useless. You end up having to open multiple cubes everyday instead of just flicking through items. |

We've used them for a quite a few years now and love them.
I love being organised, we normally have split trips such as Orlando & cruise, Argentina, Miami & cruise. I like to be able to keep our clothes and accessories tidy and not have to search to find something.
