Canaries in April?
We are probably going to cancel our holiday to Kos this summer given the quarantine requirement and uncertainty. We have booked with Tui and so can move the holiday free of charge. Problem is we’ve already got one booked next summer so are looking at Easter or May school hols. From a leave perspective and flex on flights Easter is significantly preferable.
We are not massive sun worshippers but even so I’d like to go somewhere where we could wear a t shirt in the day and maybe have a dip in a pool (heated pool maybe). Not keen on a long flight so am wondering about the canaries and whether they are warm in April… Any thoughts? |

Canaries are never not warm, you are just off the coast of Western Sahara
last time we went was xmas / new year 2019 just before it all kicked off, was @20-25 every day, no rain, some days a wee bit cloudy This was lanzarote but have had the same in tenerife similar times |

We went in February and it was lovely! So I’d expect April to be even better

It's lovely at the time of year, although Fueteventura and Lanzarote can be a bit more breezy than the other islands.

We usually go the last 2 weeks in March and the weather is lovely really warm and sunny with very little rain.
The last time we went in March 2019 the weather was fantastic for the whole 2 weeks so you should be fine in April

We've been at that time and the weather was lovely. Definitely shorts weather but the pools were freezing!
