My daughters 12 nearly 13 and blackheads and spots have been driving her crazy, she has autism and anxiety and they’ve really driven her anxiety, we’ve tried all sorts of different things over the months and are finally making progress, we spoke to doctor online who prescribed her a cream called duac it’s a benzoyl peroxide and antibiotic cream she applies at night after she’s cleansed and it is helping a lot, she hates the feel of scrubs on her face and hands and we’ve tried quite a few, in a morning now for quickness she uses clearasil cleansing pads and puts some clearasil cream on , in an evening she uses a charcoal garnier skin wash and she has a magnitone I think it’s called vibrating cleaning thingy that massages it in and then puts the duac on……since she stopped wearing masks all days at school that’s really helped a lot

as someone said James welsh on instagram/you tube and Caroline Hirons blog page has invaluable advice, she is high regarded all over the world for her skin care no nonsense approach.
I would say AHA's and BHA's would help

What about a spa treatment from a local salon. They would advise on skincare suitable for her age and skin care issues. A nice treat too.

I usually have no spot issues with my skin but mask wearing has given me some problems skin wise. I have started using Cera Ve Smoothing face wash (available from Boots & Superdrug). I use it at night and find that any spots are significantly improved by the morning. My skin does feel smoother without drying it out.

DS has had blackheads quite badly in the past.
He does still get some but I decided to give Tropic a whirl serif as so many people swear by it and I can confirm it’s excellent.
He used the smoothing cleanser, clear slate, toner and then the men’s moisturiser.
He also uses the clear skin mask a couple of times a week.
I have been using Tropic too and have found it far better than any of the more expensive products I’ve used over the years.
The only thing DS didn’t get on with was the blue serum which is supposed to prevent breakouts. That made him breakout badly!

The Inkey list salicylic acid cleanser and their PHA toner are amazing, also The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution. All really affordable and are great for blackheads.

Glad to hear it's special reduced strength stuff 💪

Every day is a wonderful school day on the dibb 👩≈🎓
It's just getting technical - it's the main component in products such as clearasil.

As someone that has iffy skin for most of their life, in addition to lots of fancy thing, I highly rate Clearasil's exfoliating face pads.

Recommend CeraVe too.
