Virgin Credit card companion voucher
I'm getting very confused about using these lol I can book 4 adult seats for flights for May at a cost of £3400. If I used 2 companion vouchers how much roughly would this reduce. Hope this makes sense

Think reward seats still need to be available for the companion voucher even with the cash sale?

Assuming your flights are around £850 each then you would just pay the taxes of around £200 ish for 2 people instead of the £850.
Not sure if you need reward flights to be available or not on that one. Details on the website are... Companion vouchers can now be used in conjunction with any ticket in any booking class and can be used in any cabin of travel (excluding Economy Light and Economy Delight) regardless of your tier status. Your companions can’t be booked into a higher cabin than you. If you have earned your companion voucher through one of our credit cards, you can now book your companion into any cabin regardless of what tier status you hold. If you are Silver or Gold when you make the booking, the companion reward seat will be zero points. If you are Red when you make the booking, the companion seat will be zero point in Economy Classic and Premium, or a 50% reduction in the points needed for Upper. See the full terms and conditions here

Well turns out you do need reward seats so booked with points and money. Flights were £1800 for 2 adults economy delight both ways. We used 150,000 points to reduce it by £800 so quite happy with that. Plus flying from Glasgow which is a bonus 😊😊
