Must sees Tokyo
Have made a plan of what to see in Tokyo but just wondering if there is anything we shouldn't miss.
Thanks very much.

What sort of things do you like? You a shopper? Temples? Animation fan...?
Also where about are you staying when there? Edited at 07:26 AM. |

We are going to Kyoto and Tokyo in December. For Tokyo we are thinking of visiting the Studio Ghibli Museum, TeamLab Borderless digital art museum and the Robot Cafe. We can’t decide whether to see DisneySea for a day or not. Good luck with the planning

TeamLab Borderless digital art museum is one of the best things I have ever seen, it was stunning and well worth the trip
Get there as it opens is my advice, we did and got in fine, but when we came out the queue was like this... and then went round the corner down the street! This was a week day also! Edited at 08:43 AM. |

Like sightseeing in general - seeing new things. Not bothered about seeing animation stuff as only have a limited time before travelling on. Was thinking of seeing some temples and possibly shops - though shopping not a priority.
Staying at Hilton Tokyo bay for first few days to see Disney and will be travelling into central Tokyo from there too. At end of trip will be staying in central Tokyo. Did you book for Teamlab Borderless? Do you know if there is a separate queues for booked ticket?

Thank you.
My daughter has discovered TeamLab Borderless and has added that to places for us to go to. We are definitely going to Disney - we're rather big fans! Good luck to you too

Was there a separate queue for ticket holders?

Am sorry but do not know - I read before we went how it was best to get tickets, so I did. When we arrived at opening time (well about 15 mins past) there were short queues and do not remember seeing anything about non-ticket holders

No worries. I am thinking of going on the day we arrive so wouldn’t be able to get there for opening. I will get tickets in advance. Is it easy to find? Maybe it’s better to go later in the afternoon ...
