We quite often do this for family or friends at Christmas. Garden centres are good for jam/lemon curd/chutneys/pate/oatcakes/cheese etc. Nice chocolates, fudge, tablet, toffee, crisps, wine or whatever spirit they drink (we also add in a pack of Schweppes mixers).

I do hampers for friends of ours every year last year I did a cosy night in one & put a Christmas cushion, blanket, mugs, coffee, hot chocolate, chocolates, candle & a dvd.
This year I’m doing a table one so have got them a set of glasses, bottle wine, table decoration, candle, napkins & chocolates.
Sometimes I just do food hampers & pop in a voucher for afternoon tea someplace or a cinema voucher
