Mobile Santas grotto centre parcs

Hi has anyone visited the Santa at centre Parcs with their children? We are going to the longleat one the weekend before crimbo and currently have the grotto booked for for my 8yr ds who still believes, however we have been to Lapland UK the last 2 yrs and had very convincing Santas who know everything about him and concerned if the Santa doesn’t live up to expectations he will know! Is there an opportunity to let the Santa know a bit about the child before? Not sure if we might be better to give it a miss! Also what gift do they receive?

We did it a few years ago and it was lovely. Santa was amazing. The elves were very clever is speaking to the kids casually in the queue listening out for their names etc and any chat of what they wanted on their Chrismas list and then must have mentioned this to santa before the kids then went in. It was amazing

Thankyou, that sounds encouraging! Sure I’m overthinking it but as this will probably be his last year believing don’t want anything to ruin it!

We go practically every year, Santa is a big draw for us going. Apart from last year when we where rushed every other year including this has been perfect.

I put the new photo up on the wall each year too, just magical. You can also guide them a little with Santa's gift, my 9yr old is a complete tomboy so I whispered to the Elf who made notes not to give her a girls gift.

Gifts have ranged from Plushes, Board Games, Lego type stuff etc. All decent gifts tbh, we usually mention the girls like Plush toys as they are always fab. This years 9yr old 'boys' toy was a board game, where you put bands on your head and you have to draw on the boards on them without being able to see what you are drawing. Lots of fun!
