Best Christmas/New Year’s party game ideas please?!

I love a good party/drinking game but I’m lacking in ideas. As we’re approaching prime party season, I thought it would be good to pool some ideas here!

I am sure its well known but I like the simple word association game at the table after dinner.
I say Green to my right, then the person on the right of me says something linked to green for example blue, or grass and so on. The first person to hesitate or repeat something has to have a drink - can be quite funny after a few drinks.

The other one is during dinner you have a "leader" - the leader changes every now and then. When the leader puts there thumb on the edge of the table everyone has to do it, the last person then has to drink. Or the leader will suddenly stop talking and the last person to realize has to drink. The whole idea is the dinner party continues like normal and the leader is very subtle so its not always obvious. Works well at work do's and meals as most people are engrossed in eating or chatting.
