Can you wrap it up again straight after feeding or does it need to be dry on top first?

I give it 5 minutes then re-wrap, but most of it is injected inside, not on top.

I like using rum, I prick over the bottom of the cake with a fine skewer or cocktail stick and dribble the rum over... the bottom becomes the top for almond paste and icing...
