Cancelled train to Manchester Airport

So we arrive for our train from Edinburgh to Manchester Airport this morning,bloody cancelled,now being bussed to Carlisle to either get put on another bus or maybe a train to Picadilly then change to another to the airport,really peed off that nobody was even around to say what was happening.So instead of our first class train we're cramped on a bus eating our M&S picnic.

That's pants! I guess you quickly bought the picnic when you realised you weren't going to get all that lovely first class trolley service. Hope the compensation is good and pays for a nice meal in Orlando.

Linda you were never cut out for the first class treatment anyway 😉 M&S Ho Ho Ho's are so much better than lobster and champagne 😂.

Lmao,missed that one,next one is cancelled too 😲A guy from Avanti told us Transpennine have new trains but no drivers,the drivers are still being trained,🤷A bloody shambles.

They needed to have buses lined up early to transport you to your destination. There have been issues for the last three weeks with this service and lots of others have been running late too. It annoys almost every passenger trying to get around on public transport. Work on the lines and cable connections failing don’t help either. DS has problems last Friday just getting home from York he said loads were very late or cancelled then. He got home eventually thank goodness safe and sound. I feel for the people travelling far going through all that stress with little information filtering through. All the train companies need to do better with that.
