We had a note that a parcel had been delivered 2 doors down (new neighbours)

Went to pick it up the son's were playing the FIFA game I'd ordered for my lad. 😂😂

Dad said he hadn't looked at parcel address.

They are very polite now 😊

On Saturday Hermes delivered a parcel and hid it, quite cleverly, under our wheelie bins so really out of sight. The problem was we were away for the weekend and rain was forecast. Quick panic messaging neighbours and luckily found one in who went and picked it up for us. We always try to ensure one of us is in when delivery is due but this one wasn't expected until today!
I have now taken two parcels in for neighbours one of whom I really am not keen on. Bet she sends her husband or one of the kids for it. 🤣

Oh my!
I accepted two deliveries for one of our neighbours at the weekend, I popped round with them when I noticed they was in (I was on my way out shopping) and she said that she accepted a delivery for another neighbour but didn’t check the name and opened it because she thought it was her order. It was a rude toy! Like a bunny rabbit toy 😳she said she tried to seal it back up best she could but it was official amazon tape with seasonal greeting on it.

Know what you mean about the lack of morals. Just complained to Royal Mail about our granddaughter birthday card being opened, it was sealed, and the £5 being removed. Don't expect to get an answer. Certainly are some scumbags around.

I have started getting stuff delivered to lockers or collection points as they always try and deliver when I am out and it's just easier

It wasn’t...Royal Mail have admitted already that it has been delivered to the wrong address

We once had a card through our door saying our parcel had been taken to number 79. Our street ends at 42!
We reported this straight to amazon who contacted the driver who said someone walking past had said they knew us and would take it for us!

I’ve been home all day... Royal Mail have admitted they’ve delivered to the wrong address, someone has signed for my parcel and accepted delivery of it, due to the time of the delivery I know it’s someone in our street as it was signed for within a few minutes of our post being delivered through the letterbox. I accept that whoever has signed for my parcel may not have realised it wasn’t for them...however it’s now been over 5 hours later and I’ve still heard nothing. If you read one of my comments we’ve had a similar thing happen before so it’s no wonder I’m slightly pessimistic of getting my parcel back to be honest.

If it was guaranteed next day delivery by Royal Mail then that should mean Special Delivery.

Special Delivery is normally delivered by a different postie than the one who is doing the routine letters to ensure they meet the guaranteed delivery times.
