DLP breakfast please explain.

I think there is a little confusion here. Just to be clear it is not a VIP FP although I know it has been called that here. It is just simply a 'free' FP that can be used once in a day on any FP attraction at stated times.

VIP FP are different and are usable all day, over and over - they are only available on suites at Disney hotels and Castle Club (DLH) and Empire State Club (HNY). IMO they are really good - we've been lucky enough to have them a few times, but do come at a price as the rooms are expensive! If I recall, you are talking about May for a trip - so you probably wouldn't need a VIP FP anyway. In peak times they are a godsend.

The 'free' FP you get with Golden Forest comes with all Golden Forest rooms - so you don't need to pay extra for a lake view if you don't want one. You will still get the FP.

I don't think you can get prices online for the Compass Club at NPB yet, but it might be worth ringing and asking. I've read of people getting very good prices when they've rang up - not sure if it's because it is new. I recall when GF started up they were not much more than a standard room, however like everything, once these things catch on and demand increases, Disney hike up the prices!
