Breakfast Slots

Hi All,

Just catching up after a LONG time with no laptop! Have just seen a few posts regarding breakfast slots... having always stayed in Davey Crockett please could someone explain these?

We will be staying in Lake View rooms in HNY

Thanks!

I think you just have slot times for breakfast, so not every one goes at the same time.
I'm looking at trying for the 7am slot, it's meant to be quieter (we're staying at Santa Fe though, so may be different) and then we'll be able to start the day early, which will be fab if there is adh on in the morning
Hope this helps

We stayed at the Cheyenne in September and despite going straight from the Eurostar to the hotel to check in the only breakfast slots they could offer us was 7 am or 10 am!

We went last week and it really doesn't matter what slot they give you to be honest. We had slots from 7.30 to 8.15 and never got there at the right time, nobody ever checked. It was busy (apart from the day we went in at ten) but always plenty of seats and food!

Thanks - that's really reassuring to know as we skipped breakfast a couple of days at the Cheyenne as we just couldn't make the 7 am slot they gave us!

At checkin you should be able to select breakfast slots for the next 3-4 days, they will give you a card for each day with your time slot on. At breakfast there should be 2 queues, normally the left queue is for groups arriving at the designated time, but the right queue is for people arriving either at the wrong time or without a timeslot. You will get seated quicker if you arrive at the right time, but we found breakfast at HNY very civilised and had no problem being seated at any time.

We stayed at HNY a few weeks ago and asked at the concierge desk if we had to book a slot for breakfast. We were just told to come down whenever we were ready.
The first morning we were down at five past seven and got seated no problem in the Manhattan Restaurant.
The second morning we were down just after eight and although we had to wait a couple of minutes for an accessible table we again got seated in the Manhattan Restaurant, same table as the day before.
The final morning we were again seated straight away in the Manhattan Restaurant at ten past seven but our favoured table had been taken by a German family.
The Parkside Diner was open too but after being directed to the Manhattan Restaurant on the first morning we headed that way each day after that.

BTW - it was really busy that week too in the hotel, with the French public holiday period and various conventions.

Regards,
