Christmas 2013!

Hello Fellow Dibbers!
We went to DLP for Christmas 2006, we have booked to go again this year, we have heard that the Winter Wonderland has stopped, and was wondering what had been put in its place?
Also, when we went, in Disney Village there was a Belle's Christmas Market, which we loved, will that still be there or has that changed as well? Can anybody tell us what else to expect as well?

The official announcement for this Christmas season hasn't been made yet. Mickeys Winter Wonderland did stop during the 20th Anniversary celebrations. Disney did spend a lot of money on the 20th and Dreams but the rumour is they will be adding more to the Christmas season this year seeing the 20th celebrations end in September. Fingers crossed they bring back some of the old and show us something new!

Unfortunately DLP haven't been running any stage shows at the Chaparral Theatre or the stage in the Videoppolis.

Us too, really excited, not been in December since 2007, when we actually spent Christmas day there. Guessing it will be about September before they announce what will be part of Christmas. Dreams will definitely continue in some form, they might just have an extra scene or something for Christmas. Hoping for some special meal option, Santa Claus, ideally the Winter Wonderland show, but since not even had Tarzan this summer not holding out much hope, maybe a Christmas parade too.

Love Christmas at DLP, much more magical than WDW imo.

We've been 4 times in the Christmas holidays. Once in between Christmas and New Year, the other 3 times arriving on Christmas Eve. Can't get more magical than waking up in Disney on Christmas Day.

Would love to go back at that time again.

Would love to wake up in Disney on Christmas Day - but the prices of meals really puts me off.

Apart from the one Christmas day meal we had at HNY (cost around £250 for 4 of us and it wasn't great) we have eaten at Walts and don't remember it being any more expensive than any other time. If it was, it must have been negligible and certainly not the price we paid at HNY, which we'd never do again.

It really is a great time to go, one year on Boxing Day we had real snow The only downside is how cold it can be. The one year our youngests legs were so cold that when we got him out of his pushchair, his legs must have been numb as he couldn't stand up! This was with woollen tights
(yes on a boy ) jeans, a blanket wrapped around his legs, and cosy toes fitted. Felt awful about that
