Well, this is becoming more and more commonplace I guess, the apparent quick cash grab from Disney. I certainly won't be using this, it's terrible value for money IMO, but I don't think I'm anywhere near who they're aiming this at. I can see it being used by people wanting to get in line early for Anna and Elsa, not much else.
And no-one has to pay it, but it will affect how busy parks are I'm sure, which is a pain for us planners

Guessing 'rope drop' will only be for those paying the extra on these dates, such a shame

If I had an ADR on those days for breakfast, I would cancel it and book another day. I have one on 5 July so will be keeping an eye on this. No point going in for breakfast if the park is already full of people.

I dont see any value in this to be honest.

Just do rope drop - you will easily get 7DMT, Pooh and Peter Pan done in the first hour to hour and a half. Then go grab a QS breakfast somewhere at a fraction of the cost.

I see more value (although still not much) in the evening event to be honest - even though I wont be doing that either!

I presume the welcome show will be early too then? That's upsetting as one of those days is our only magic kingdom day and I really wanted to see the show this trip Moving the MK day is a no go as we have a reservation for BOG for 10 people!

I'm happy to pay extra for true events but not just a few extra hours in the park, also feels like it's sneaking into EMH territory slightly...

I'm interested to see how this will affect the busy day guides too.
