TUI technology / app is pants
managed to complete API but would not let me book any seats we paid for ... the online chat is a waste of time just says its busy try later all the time eventually had to ring took about 90 mins... |

Went into the tui shop Friday Evening and low and behold it said it was submitted even though it didn't at home. So whilst there he printed boarding cards too. More than helpful this time around but the other day the lady on the phone was not so helpful in the same store. I suppose there's that few that can't be bothered and need a bit of customer service training again because it's giving TUI a bad reputation. Thank you for all of your replies.👍

At Birmingham Airport now. We couldn't input our API accommodation details online. Mentioned it at check in and the staff said it had gone through on their system and all the details were there.

Thanks you for posting this as we go in 2 weeks and are having the same issues. Appreciate the reassurance and hope you have a great time. Can I just ask was the attestation form easy to complete? I have printed off our vaccine proof and will do the same with our tests.

Yes, attestation form on Tui website so simple, just a couple of tick box questions for each person then submit. I printed the cdc form as well but wasn't asked for it at check in. They just asked for covid pass, esta and proof of pre departure lft, which I had printed copies of. Very straightforward. Gate just announced so be off soon, hopefully.

I managed ours but my SO I and Brother had the same issue for the same flight. We sorted it in store yesterday
On another note, we couldn't pick vegan meals or anything when booking or in amendments. We sorted that out in store yesterday too |

Filled ours in yesterday. Completed it with no issues. Pressed submit. Page refreshed saying technical error and all details had disappeared!
This is the second time I’ve read of people having to show their esta. Is this a new thing or a Tui thing?
