Bloc at Gatwick

There are 4 of us, 3 adults and a child.

Bloc state anyone over 14 is an adult.

Could I just book a family room and try my luck?

I mean - what hotel ever checks?

Bloc states "twin bunks suitable for guests up to 14-years-old" in the family room.

They are not necessarily saying an adult is over 14 (in their T+C it states 6! I'm guessing a misprint of 16... but not sure), just that the bunk beds are not suitable for older teens and up, just for kids.

Why don’t you just get two rooms at the Gatwick Travel lodge plus. At least it won’t be like sleeping in a shoebox, and a lot cheaper, two rooms less than £100 total approx ( not knowing your dates.)

£30 each room in October, ( I saw you fly Oct in other posts, but not exact dates)

The wouldn’t check but it’s unlikely an adult would be comfortable on the bunk beds in the family room.

The bunk beds are fairly small I’m not sure an adult would fit in them tbh.

We stayed there when my dd was 9. We bag dropped night before but I think if you have cases in the room it’s too tight for four people unless two of them are tiny. It’s literally the size of the bunks, double bed and a few feet between to walk. I also found it hard to sleep as we were right on the runway.
