Disney Tickets

We are going to Disney on the 29th October for 10 nights.
If we buy the 14 day tickets direct from Disney for the 29th it will be £509 each, but if we buy the tickets starting the 25th they are only £489 each. This would still cover our entire stay. Is it ok to do this.

Additionally if we buy the tickets from Floridatix with s start date of the 25th, we can get them for £459 as they have a 5% sale at the moment. (thats potentially a £50 saving per ticket)

We have always bought from Disney direct.

So questions are, is it ok to buy the tickets with an early date and is Floridatix safe, bearing in mind we want the codes early to add to MDE and pre book the parks.

We’ve are using them this year and they seem ok.
I’m surprised that you can do that with the date based tickets. I’d have thought it was linked to when the ticket is activated (for example we’ve bought tickets with covid cover, we can use the tickets to book reservations but it’s isn’t classed as activated until we enter the park). I’m probably wrong as I don’t know much about tickets!

The new tickets are activated from the date you specify. The old ultimate tickets were activated from the first time you used them, which was because they were not date specific.

They have a special offer on tickets before the 25th October. They must have a price rise for Halloween or something.

As long as the 18 day window covers your trip then go for it. You can use them for any 14 days. Any savings is a bonus when going to orlando!

We have bought our tickets from floridatix as well.

Yes, it is ok to do that.

It will mean that the tickets start on the 25th Oct and end on the 11th Nov. They can only be used on 14 days between (and including) those dates. Which shouldn't be a problem for you.

I've never used FloridaTix but they have been around for a while and several other DIBBers have used them. They should be fine.
