Harry potter reunion

Announced recently, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: #ReturnToHogwarts is getting a UK airing, same day as the US one.

Watch on New Year’s Day exclusively on Sky Max, Sky Showcase and streaming service NOW in UK & Ireland.

Can't wait...

The house tournament quiz show is also on these holidays, 29th I think.

Shame that JK Rowling won’t be at the celebration though. Seems like she is being shunned at the moment due to her opinions.

It is indeed a shame. Cancel culture is one of the oddest things of our era.

And some Quidditch associations are changing the name of the sport to distance it from her

It’s pretty disgusting tbh.
A woman standing up for women gets you cancelled.

I would like to watch it.. but won’t.

The way that Ms Rowling has been castigated for expressing an honestly held opinion is absolutely disgusting.

Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Daniel Ratcliffe should get down on their knees and thank Ms Rowling for having the imagination and perseverance to create a trilogy and an industry called Harry Potter and that they were cast to play a part in it.

It would not have mattered a great deal, which fortunate 11 year olds were cast in the key roles that have gone on to earn them plenty whilst in probability also having given them a meal ticket for life. In contrast to the more established stars, their acting was hardly brilliant, particularly in the earlier films. The established actors ‘carried’ the childrens poor skills.

No Rowling then no Potter. No Watson, Grint or Ratcliffe, then nothing would have been different.

None of the three has actually set the world alight since Deathly Hallows 2 and nor are they likely to. They are one trick ponies who soon enough will be looking to Celebrity Big Brother or I’m a Celebrity to earn a crust by talking about…. Ms Rowling.

If I was Ms Rowling, rich beyond what she can ever spend and doubtless with great control of the Potter franchise(s), I would be playing very obstructive, hardball indeed. Call it vengeance, if you like.

Never bite the hand that feeds you is a good maxim in life!

I have news for these Quidditch teams. Unless they are able to sit on a broomstick and fly it, then they are not playing Quidditch. It is an aerial game, played in 3 dimensions and flying broomsticks are a prerequisite to a Quidditch match. The Nimbus 2000 (A Rowling creation), does not exist.

They are clearly utter fantasists and therefore I hold both their opinions and their game name change in utter ridicule.
