Tipping In DLP restaurants

Just asking, certainly not complaining 😂 , what is expected/usual regarding tipping at table service restaurants in DLP?

We’ve paid for the meal plan so will tend to be ordering from the set menu for the 3 of us, maybe with an alcoholic drink added to the bill for DH and myself. Will we get a bill with a suggested tip added as in WDW? I’m presuming tipping is expected, but what percentage is usual? Do we tip at buffets? Or bars, if we have just drinks?

Tipping in France is usually optional, as it is in the UK. There's no expected amount. We tend to round it up and maybe leave a couple of Euros.

Yes, in France the service charge is already included in your bill, and it's up to you if you want to leave an extra tip or not. It's certainly not expected. I'm French by the way, so take it from me!

Thank you both, that’s reassuring. We always leave a tip in the UK, unless service is particularly poor, so we can do the same in DLP and on our day out in Paris.
