Unfortunately I have first hand experience of a female physically and mentally abusing a male. It was quite scary and what made it worse was said female came across as very kind, friendly and helpful to others. AKA she would never hurt a fly - looks and words can be deceiving.

I am watching some of the live streams & legal commentary Emily D on youtube and I find some of the voice records hard to listen to. I am team Johnny from what I am hearing so far. In one she can e heard telling him

“Tell the world, Johnny, tell them, 'Johnny Depp, I, a man, I'm a victim too of domestic violence'. And see how many people believe or side with you."

So cruel. Regardless of the legal outcome, at least he is getting chance to tell his story.

Unfortunately as female to male domestic abuse is both less talked about and believed can relate to her saying “And see how many people believe or side with you”. because a lot won’t.

I've not listened to any of it but just reading articles in the BBC. They seem to focus on his 'bad' stuff considering it's his side at the moment. How he messaged someone to burn and drown her for example. I've not seen them publish anything to paint her in a poor light so far.

Does it say why she's recording him so much? Victims often do that to have their proof as they don't think they'll be believed?

The bits I have seen/read make it sound a very toxic and sad place to be.

It’s because he’s already taken the stand, they brought all that stuff up when he was cross examined by her lawyers. She hasn’t taken the stand yet so hasn’t been cross examined.

It definitely was a very toxic and destructive relationship. It’s interesting watching their reactions in court, he looks mortified and embarrassed by most of the stuff coming up (I was watching last night when they were taking about the state of the house in Australia after one of the fights) she just looks stone faced and like she wants to kill someone!
