Yep, DD and DSIL have cancelled a 2 week Beach Club visit as they just feel they don’t want to go as it is now. DD has been to WDW most years since she was 7 and it feels such a shame. We feel we had the best and now it’s over

We are here now and done all 4 parks this week. Got in all 4 on early entry and went for our ‘must do’ rides whilst booking a LL. It has actually worked well for us - for example Rise of the Resistance was a 25 minute wait and it was more like 15. The crowds are ok first thing but then you notice them building from around 11. We have been several times over Easter and so they are not really phasing us and we tend to leave around 4 ish.
We came with an expectation of busy parks, expensive food and merch and very different systems. We are still having a fabulous time and it is lovely to be in the magic.

After 9/11, investment in WDW slumped until about 2014/15.

EPCOT & AK only really have three star attractions which means massive queues. Hopefully, the addition of Guardians & Tron will help in the next 12 months

Plus to add to the misery and queues, Blizzard Beach looks unlikely to open until 2023!

So even last week (which the crowd calendar shows as Moderate/Light) still necessitates early entry and booking LL?

This is my fear but we are going well prepared that it’s going to be busier and much more expensive.
I really hope those who have had an awful time with Genie+ complain some how to Disney as that’s the only way they’ll try and improve it .
Oh believe me, we did! 😂😂

An African Safari is cheaper than a Disney trip. Significantly so.

Yes, this! They simply *have* to change this going forward. It’s so disingenuous! And we were fobbed off by regular CMs when we complained about falling foul of this and it destroying our plans. Only when we spoke to management did it get resolved. What other service do you select a time slot, pay for it, only to find the time slot had then changed by the time you’ve paid? ! Shocking.

The only way for Disney to do something is if no one buys it.
Which is exactly what happened to us one day in MK…

I used to love going to Disney but couldn't think of anything worse right now. We just do Universal & Seaworld etc and have a much better holiday.
