Mobile Passport advice

Both of my children’s passports expire about a month after the end of our stay in Florida. Will they need new ones as I’m not sure if the US requires a 6 month period of validity after the end date? Thanks in advance for any advice

You don’t need 6-months for USA.

Are you flying direct or connecting in Europe? Rules are changing in Europe due to Brexit but it does not affect USA.

They only need to be valid for the duration of your trip.

Your esta only needs to be valid for the day you enter.

Note, if you do renew the passports, you will need a new esta.

Yep, I travelled with my youngest last time, she had 6 weeks left on her passport when we returned, and it was a baby picture in the passport. Not an eye was batted. We go in June, my oldest will have less than 6 months on hers.
