Booking a mystery hotel near Manchester airport

We are only 30 minutes drive from Manchester airport , but I'm considering booking a hotel for the night before. We normally fly on a Saturday but as it's a Sunday this year I was thinking it would be a nice way to start the holiday.
There is a mystery hotel which is pay now and then find out which hotel it is for £189. Says it's 4 star and two minutes walk from T1 and T3. Has anyone any idea which hotels it may be

Yes I just came back to edit and say that's with 14 days parking. We fly on Sunday and arrive back a Saturday.
The parking isn't at the hotel but they park the car off site for you.

It's two minutes from the airport by shuttle not two minutes walk.

most would probably say its 2 mins away by shuttle

clayton or crowne plaza ? they take you car offsite & return it the day you return.

fwiw 30 mins away i would get a cab wont be @190 quid

You're right I should put my sensible head on 😁 To be honest on a Sunday morning from junction 11 of the M56 it's barely 25 minutes

I think it’s probably Clayton. Are you booking through Holiday Extras? If you compare the info about the mystery hotel to the named hotel info you can usually work out which hotel it is. The opening times of the grill restaurant and the description of the bar suggest it’s probably the Clayton.

We rarely park at the airport now, a prebooked Mercedes with driver round trip far is cheaper than parking at Gatwick (for some reason it’s cheaper than the local mini cabs by about £5 each way) for us... as is train and a cheap airport hotel . I’m fine with Travelodge or Premier for those few hours , I’ve even used Yotel.
I refused to consider driving to Gatwick anymore the day my worrywort of a husband wanted to leave to drive the hour to Gatwick at 1am for an 11 am departure and sit in departures all night “just in case” . Just no

I’ve just noticed your countdown is only 2 days less than mine, but I think I fly on a Monday, must have my countdown wrong! 😂😂

We booked the Handforth PI for £29 and T2 meet and greet for £53! but we’re in NW wales so wouldn’t risk traveling on the day!
