Starling account

I am having problems with my Starling account. I want to lock the card, but when I go to Your Card and move the widget to the left, the green spot disappears, but it still says Unlocked. If I navigate away from that screen and come back to it, the green spot is there again and it still says Unlocked. Tried it numerous times with the same result.
Has anyone else experienced this.

I've just tried and mine seems to be working correctly.

When I had issues before I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and that fixed the problem.

I contacted Starling on Live Chat. They weren't very helpful. Just said it must be a poor internet connection. I was sitting right by the router at the time. Have also tried connection via the phone network but still having the same problem.
Thinking of closing the account and just using Revolut instead for use abroad.

I've also updated the App from the PlayStore, but that hasn't made any difference either.

Have you tried turning your phone off and back on? Sounds daft but sorts to 99% of my issues!

Yes, I have tried that as well. I can't believe it is the wireless signal, as everything else is working properly. I think the next step is to uninstall the App completely and reinstall from scratch.

What a performance. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Then it wouldn't accept my password, even though I am convinced it was the right one. I requested a new password using the "Forgotten Password" link.

Then I had to submit a video whilst reading out some text. An hour later and I received confirmation that I could log in again.
However, the problem still exists and I can't lock my card.

At 80 years of age, I can't be bothered with all this complicated technology. I am going to withdraw the balance and close the account.
