I have just recently bought a Ninja max air fryer. I got it on amazon for 99.99 and I am very impressed with it so far.

Believe you me no convincing with these, once you have used one you will kick yourself very hard for not getting one much earlier, we have a Phillips the one selling on amazon for £100 but I got it for £49-00 , you just need to be vigilant, bondy.

Check out the Ninja Foodi. Just got one today, its big but on offer for £129. It's a pressure cooker, airfryer and slow cooker all in one. Tried out chips today and came out really well. Well reviewed on Amazon as well.

I’ve been looking at this over the last couple of days, my instant pot broke a while ago and I’ve not replaced it. Seems good that it does quite a few things.

Our chips are always crunchy! I simply cut whole potatoes through my chipper, chuck them in the actifry with 1 tbsp olive oil and off we go. Never dry them or anything. I do use Maris Pipers though, as the variety of potato makes a a big difference.

I've also put chicken and peppers in, with tinned tomatoes etc and made lovely sauces too.

I have a question, do they smell like a chip pan? In the 25 years I have had my own house I have never owned any form of chip pan/ deep fat fryer. Also do they do anything different that you can’t do in an oven?

No, no nasty smell at all.

In my halo I've cooked curries, jacket potatoes, steak, chicken nuggets, bacon and sausage...the list goes on.

Now thinking about best capacity - for 4-5 people?

What other things are good to look out for spec wise?
