Sounds like a great trip you have planned, I think the end of next year is a realistic goal, fingers crossed

Yes this started as this September , then moved to May , then September .
It has cost nothing in change fees but has gone from a hand baggage fare to ordinary economy out and premium economy back so there was a little more to pay . With the extra onboard credit for the cruise we’ve broken even .
The domestic flight from Melbourne beach to Vegas was only £125 ... so a short Uber from the cruise port . Bit of a wait to connect in Charlotte but we will just have lunch to fill the time.
Weirdly a friend in Chicago is flying in for the same show and our seats turn out to be three seats apart so need to find somewhere nice for dinner pre show that night.
It’s a nice mix, relaxing in Vero, cruise then the insanity that is Vegas , I’m *fairly* confident it’ll all happen this time !

Sounds like a great trip. We had very similar trips cancelled twice, but no Florida, and Carnival Cruise, then bit of west coast then Vegas. I saw Donny was on and would love to see him. Iwill book once we get to a stage when we actually know when we can go! Caesars hotels have some great rates at the moment. I know you like the Orleans, and shuttle to strip is brilliant. I think it will happen for you this time!

He does a great show solo , it’s a multi year residency but not year round like the D&M show was at the Flamingo so plenty of time . Husband hates big hotels so as it’s his first trip to Vegas I don’t want to put him off. I found an amazing rate at the Venetian too as well as those Caesars rates (which fell even further when I got them to reactivate my old player’s card) but Orleans it is with a great rate and we will benefit from their better food prices.
I couldn’t sleep last night (my cat has been missing for two weeks and he was found yesterday and taken to the vets who messaged me with photos late last night, alive and fairly well , picking him up in an hour but I just can’t relax til I have him home now) so dug my way through Black Friday deals so Orleans is now booked , Gatwick hotel and parking . Also talked to cousin in AZ who wants us to visit him and his Dad on their horse ranch near Tucson so trying to fit that in too. I may just fly up solo for the day though .
Just need to find my my lounge booking for this year to get it rebooked and planning is all done for now.

Yes looking forward to Donny. So glad your cat is back. Wonder where the little monkey has been for 2 weeks! Hope he is ok, and back safely with you. So thats you all booked then. I am sure hubby will love Orleans. We still have our end of January booking. We can still go, but must isolate for 2 weeks upon return. Just not sure its wise to go to the US that soon. Not without a vaccination. I can cancel everything with refund though.
Tucson sounds lovely...its a place I would love to go. Pity you cant go for a bit longer.
