Virgin Atlantic launch a sale today
It may take a while for it to feed through but VS have announced to agents today that they are starting a sale. I don't have any details at the moment but watch out for adverts/emails and promos coming through.
Good luck for those wanting to get a deal and book. |

Is this just flights with VA or packages with Virgin Holidays, or both?

They are offering the dates that I booked with BA...
LHR-SFO on 18 Aug LAS-LHR on 02 Sept At £370 (plus baggage, of course) My price release was £430 plus baggage at £90, so clearly a rather good price. You can also play safe and book at the same price with the more reputable Delta through Google flights.

Some details have appeared on their VS webpage
virginatlantic/ seems to have a good range of dates but the few UC fares I have looked at are higher than the £999 from a while ago. |

At the moment if you want to go direct that's your only option (Tui and Sanford excepting).
they will come down if Aer Lingus make an announcement of new routes that is rumoured. I've just dummy booked and it's not what I'd call ridiculous, it's normal. I'd take their fares in normal times...except there are bargains elsewhere. We're booked via Dublin for half the price ! Interestingly it's cheaper to upgrade to First class than it is to premium !

Thankfully our dates are not included - we had already booked! I would have liked PE though.

It may have been a flippant comment by my sister about not going to the US of A while Mr T was President but it cost us all 2020!
We had booked Virgin from Manchester PE for 1k each from July to September 2020. Just booked today for £750 each similar dates. This year my sister and Nephews would only have joined us for 14 days with TUI but now they are also going PE and for just over 3 weeks in 2021...Hopefully.. Dissapointed it will not be on a 747 but the world changes and I stay the same! Now I just have to make a video game to pay for the rest... or get a real job again. |
