50th Birthday Restaurant - suggestions please

Our 2020 holiday has now moved to 2021 and with it now being nearly within a month of my 50th birthday it's become my Official 50th Birthday™ Trip.

I'd like to find somewhere nice to eat as an Official 50th Birthday™ Meal. Can you give me your recommendations for favourite restaurants and dishes that fit any of the places on this itinerary please:

LA (Universal City)
LA (Century City)
PCH
Monterey
San Francisco
Yosemite *already having daughters 12th birthday meal at The Ahwahnee
Mammoth Lakes
Death Valley *staying at The Inn at Death Valley so might be only choice
Las Vegas
Anaheim

As a Cornishman I love seafood but just as happy with a very rare slab of beef. Price shouldn't be an issue but not sure my daughters' (14, 12) attention span would survive a 7 course tasting menu.

What budget would you consider appropriate?

We had a wonderful meal (tasting menu but not 7 courses) at Napa Rose. Not sure all 12 and 14 year olds would love that though, ours were a similar age and went to DCA while we were having dinner!

Vegas has some absolutely fabulous restaurants but I worry about suggesting many in case the hotel they are in isn’t open or COVID has shuttered the restaurant.

But, a place we always love in Vegas (and pretty cheap) is Mon Ami Gabi especially if you can snag a patio seat overlooking the fountain! We eat there every time we go and have only had great experiences.

Food options in Death Valley we found limited to say the least!

San Francisco again has many fabulous restaurants but I’ve not been recently so I’ll let someone else answer that.

Champagne brunch in the Bellagio or dinner at The Top Of The World, the revolving restaurant at the top of the Stratosphere, both are excellent.

Anything really. About £80-120 per head would probably be good. I've been on DDP in Florida too many times to actually think how much a meal costs in the US.

Is Napa Rose similar to the California Grill in the Contemporary ar WDW?

Champagne Brunch sounds nice. Do they have it every day?

IMO a significant step above CG but none of the views.

I would totally recommend it.

Some ideas ...
Birthday lunch at Nepenthe, Big Sur
Sunday Jazz brunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel
The Tonga Room in San Francisco (kids would enjoy that it 'rains' in the restaurant every 15 mins plus live band most nights)
Eiffel Tower restaurant in Vegas overlooking the Bellagio fountains
