Night of Joy... what is it and how does it affect crowds?
I've just been reading a post on facebook from a person who's at WDW the same time as us, and everyone is guessing that the night of 6th September is MNSSHP and 7th plus 8th September will be Night of Joy.
I've scheduled to go to MK on the 8th, and I can see that the park closes at 6pm - that's fine for us because we plan on going to the Poly for a drink or two at Trader Sams Grog Grotto then watching the fireworks on the beach. But what IS Night of Joy? Is it held inside MK? And does that mean large crowds throughout the whole day or just later on? Will they still do fireworks if this event is on? Thanks

No they don't do the fireworks as the park closes at 6pm.
NOJ is a Christian Music Festival that used to be at MK then was moved to World of Sports. But it wasn't popular there so it might be moved back to MK this year. We honestly don't know yet as Disney haven't actually said. NOJ guests do get early entry to MK like any other event night so it possibly will be busier than normal. Let's just wait and see if it is actually back at MK this year and then we can think again on the logistics of that day. |

Thanks Simon, I don't suppose you know when they are likely to release that information?
