PE upgrade at Airport Virgin

Has anyone been lucky to upgrade at the Airport to or from Orlando? How much did it cost you? Did you get to sit together? Did you do twilight checkin or normal checkin?

It's usually advertised on the overhead screen or by a notice on the desk at check in. Sometimes it's �249 or �199 if you're lucky. Staff will advise on seat availability before you make the final decision if you show interest.

Last time I asked at Gatwick for a price from PE to UC they quoted me �950. I politely declined and said I wasn't interested in buying the cabin

We have upgraded at the gate once going out and once at Disney Springs chekin.

From Economy to Premium they were �150 pp.

Going out we sat together. Coming back we were split up

I was assuming the question was upgrading from econ to pe when I mentioned those prices I had seen.

Can you ask before you accept if you will be sat together or not?

They certainly told us before we took the upgrade that we wouldn't be sat together. They made that very clear. There were 4 of us. 2 were together in the bubble and two downstairs in different locations.

Thank you thats good to know, I am hoping for a good price at the airport but if not then its not end of the world we are going to Disney

On way home it would be better as want to bring an extra case home lol.
