You’re welcome 😊. Yes, that’s right, you get an hour in which to use a fastpass. If you’re a few minutes late it can often still be valid, so always worth a try! No, there’s nothing stopping you getting any number of further fastpasses after you’ve used your first 3 (except availability as you say).

I’ve sometimes seen quite long queues for Spaceship Earth in the past couple of years - usually around midmorning. Yesterday (according to the wait times here on the DIBB) the queue got up to 40 minutes. On average, the queues are longer for Spaceship Earth than Mission Space.
But even if the wait is only 20 mins, a fastpass will mean they’ll queue for 15 minutes less. Although it would be great to be able to prebook fastpasses for Test Track and Soarin’ on the same day, Disney doesn’t allow this (and hasn’t done for a long time).

Smallest boy doesn’t do queuing at all so the shorter the wait the better! Am I right in thinking Spaceship Earth is literally the first ride as you get to the park? If we can fast pass that and get on without too much of a wait he might be more amenable to waiting later!
We are staying at RPR so have FOLP for Universal. |

Yes, it’s the first ride you come to if entering from the main entrance. It’s the ride in the Big Ball.
That’s the reason it can get busy in the morning. Because its the first ride people see when they enter, lots of people join the queue in the morning. It tends to be a little quieter in the afternoon.

We were there last month and the wait time shown was regularly 20-40 min for Spaceship Earth, it also seems to get busy early on I guess as everyone is walking right by it

OP. In multiple visits a year I find the best plan for Spaceship Earth is to not include it in your plans. Do everything you want to do and get FPs for them. When you are within 30 mins of leaving the Park grab a final FP for Spaceship Earth and just stroll to it.
Now as we found yesterday I wanted a 5.00pm FP but could only get a 7.30pm one. Fine, selected it then fiddled for a few minutes and dragged it back to what I wanted.

I usually book 3 ride we want then go back in, then you can change the time or even the ride you want to go on by clicking modify it will then let you change make the changes you want. Now for the 4th fast pass once you have scan the band or ticket for the 3rd get on the app if you can not find a ride you want just keep refreshing the app as this brings up new times and rides book the one you want if the times not quite right click the fast pass and click modify again then it will bring up other times or even a different ride it is easy once you get use to the app. MK is one of the best parks for greater choice best we have done in MK is 9 fast passes in 6 hours this is be picking a ride changing the time and then checking and keep refreshing the app for another ride while we are queuing waiting for the ride. When our DS comes with us I book him different ride just click his name and then find something different for me and DH meet up later at an arranged place. Have fun book all the fast passes you really want then just play about on MDE before you go gives you chance to change things.

As we have small children who wont be able to ride Soarin and Test track, we have been able to split our FP as we can rider switch, so we have 4 adults riding TT, 3 adults stay with the 2 small ones. So 4 fp out of 7 we will then get a Fp for the other 3 to ride. So we have also got 3 for TT and 4 adults wait with the kids S we will get fp for 3 to ride, I adult does not want to ride.
So Soarin FP 4adults Rider switch fast Pass for 3 Test Track 3 adults. Rider switch fast pass for 3 We have booked frozen for our 2nd Epcot day so if you have young children who are too small or who do not want to ride use the rs option only downside is your whole party does not ride together. We have booked plenty wher we can all ride like Spaceship Earth. |

It all might actually change when we get there tbh...Youngest is 7 but a complete adrenaline junkie but hasn’t really had much of a chance to go on fast rides. He is adamant he wants to do Test Track...he actually wants to do Mission Space as well (but I’ve said no!) but he might get there and completely change his mind (then again so might I). He’s 125cm so definitely tall enough for both (well the green mission space).
