home and we had a great time and would like to say a big thanks everyone for your help and advice

i will get round to doing a trip report and posting some pictures once i have them uploaded to this computer

we didn't like nassau that much and found it a strange mixture of very high end watch and jewellry shops sandwiched in between some very tacky tourist ones also my childrens found some of the colourfull locals quite intimidating, if, or should i say when we attempt another disney cruise i think we'd either stay on the ship and take more advantage of what it has to offer or participate in a organised tour

we did love the ship and castaway cay was really special, we totally enjoyed every minute on the island and i can see why people really want to return

i want to go back like right now

Welcome home Mazz. We didn't like Nassau at all. Too much hastle at shops. Next time we would probably do the Atlantis thingy so kids can enjoy the waterpark, etc.

We went to Nassau a few years ago (pre kids)and felt the same about it. We were intending to take advantage of the facilities on board on that day.

Did a holiday in the Bahamas a few years ago. Went to Nassau/Paradise Island/Cable Beach because I kinda felt it was something that had to be done but there wasn't a lot special going on.

We spent most of our time on Cat Island which is still, fortunately, very much unspoiled.
