Talking I have succumed to a VERANDA !

Well after much deliberation, I have upgraded my stateroom from a Cat 12 to a Cat 7 Unfortunately, I was too late to book either 7120 or 7620 , but hey there we go. I just really felt I could not spend a week without the veranda that I adored so much on my last cruise.

Jen, did you not ask for 6634 or 6134? They are the same rooms just a deck below.

I think you have made the right choice, especially on the 7 night cruise as you will use the verandah a lot more

Jen, I have just done a dummy booking on DCL for your dates and #6634 was available...try and get that room, like said above it's the same layout as #7620, directly below it.

Good Luck if you decide to go for it.

Good choice. I think if you had and liked using, a verandah previously, then you would miss it. We used ours loads in April and have rebbooked with a verandah for next time.

Don't blame you - we're only doing a 3 night cruise so I wasn't bothered about a balcony but I would book one if I was going for 7 nights I think. Maybe next time

What do you all do on your verandahs? when do you find time to sit out there?
We were upgraded to one on our 1st cruise, used it for 10 mins.
We leave cabin as soon as we are ready on a morning, go back to change for evening meal the back to cabin to sleep.

I found that after 2 solid weeks at WDW, I used the cruise as a total chill out away from crowds. I mainly sat out there first thing in the morning - having ordered room service for breakfast and watching the sun rise. Then at the end of the day, watching the waves roll by and smelling the sea and just listening to the waves - oh gosh I wish I was back there now
