Dollar Express Fast Lane Service

Hi,
I've booked a 12 seater van from Dollar through Usrentacar opting for the 'Gold' insurance option.

This allows two additional drivers on the insurance as standard.

I noticed Dollar have a Dollar Express Fast Lane Service. What is this?

Can I use the Dollar Express Fast Lane Service or do I have to go to the counter to register the additional two driver's details?

I will phone Usrentacar tomorrow but would like advice before I phone.

You need to sign up to Dollar Express.

Then if you do you used to be able to ask USRENTACAR to link it. It was fantastic as you just wondered straight to the garage and picked your own car in the class and drove off. Used it a number of times.

This year though (go in 2 weeks) USRENTACAR have told me the link with Dollars system doesn't work. Not sure if I'm being fobbed off here and none too happy as this was the only reason I booked Dollar it is so good.

US Rentacar have given me a link to put it into a quick service desk but I don't want to go anywhere near the desk as per Dollar Express.

I need to call USRENTACAR again this week and failing that see if I can get it put directly on with Dollar. It is 100% brilliant to use- you save at least half an hour when coming off the flight, no badgering up sell and yu pick the best car in the row. Last year I picked a top spec minivan with leather, auto doors and seat back TVS.

I'm getting the 12 seater van again myself this time as 6 of us going. Had the 12 seater many times, and once the 15.

Thanks for your reply. Did you only have one driver or did you have additional drivers?

I believe that, according to others on here, Dollar Express can only be joined and used with bookings that are direct with Dollar. Third Party rentals such as Usrentacar Cannot be linked.

Yes apparently it's since Hertz took it over. Us Rent A Car haven't said this though. One chap who went in June has posted they still did it for him. I emailed them again.

we couldnt get out booking this year with us rentacar linked to dollar express (was fine last year)

they claim there is an issue with systems but anecdotal evidence on here suggest 3rd party booking cant be linked any more

they did send me this link to use..
