We have arrived safely and it's great to be "home" 😊

We had breakfast at the Premier Inn. We had the same as we always do! Would it be wrong to say check out the photos from our 1st report?!

Our Virgin flights were smooth and seamless and we enjoyed our first time in the bubble. This was the menu.

We were offered drinks on numerous occasions through out the flight. Pretzels were good.

Kids meal. They enjoyed this.

I particularly enjoyed the chocolate GU pot, fab ice lolly and the afternoon tea.

On route to Bahama Bay we stopped off at Publix to pick up essential supplies and grabbed something quick to eat as we were all on the verge of falling asleep!

Chef Mickey's

So breakfast this morning was at Chef Mickey's at The Contemporary Resort. This is usually a family tradition of ours when doing Disney, but a first for my parents.

You can never have too many Mickey waffles right?!

We loved the food, service and character interaction. It was a perfect start to our holiday.

The only eye watering aspect was the price! Ouch.

We knew how much this would cost in advance, but now my parents have done it, our children are getting older, we think it's time to find a new (cheaper) tradition!

It's a great use of credits if on the dining plan, but in reality can't justify the cost. Therefore today we have also decided to cancel Trails End & Whispering Canyon.

Buffalo Wild Wings

We didn't need to eat again until dinner. Without sounding boring or repetitive, this is a firm family favourite. Can't beat the food or the price. It's an easy laid back dinner option.

We decided to share a selection of sides.

My very yummy boneless chicken wings in sweet bbq sauce. They had a special offer on tonight of each wing being 65c each.

They were sooooooo good!

And this is what it cost for us all.

Bonus.

Super Target

On the way back to the condo, we decided to stop off. Any excuse! I'm sure we were only meant to be buying drinks but somehow we ended up with a trolley!

Found lots of festive treats

And VERY happy to find Peppermint Bark. Only discovered this when Santa gave us these in Magic Kingdom 5 years ago. We saw him today, but he no longer gives anything out. You can only buy Peppermint Bark at Christmas.

So stocked up!

Main Street Bakery - Magic Kingdom

Forgot to add this last night. Sorry. For those who read our first food report, I discovered the very berry hibiscus on our last trip. Starbucks don't sell this in the UK so will make the most of it whilst over here! Still as lovely and refreshing as I remembered.

The character meals are so expensive OOP aren't they? Your dinner seems such a bargain in comparison.

Very jealous of your refreshing Starbucks drink and the beautiful blue sky 😎 I've just had a nice hot Costa latte whilst sheltering from the wind and rain of Storm Barbara!
