The daily EMH was only for July and August was an added benefit for the opening to run for July & Aug and during the busy Summer period. It was never going to carry on long term, the EMH schedule for the next few months is the same as it has been for the past few years.

This was extra EMH, over and above what is usually offered. So actually they gave onsite guests something extra for free over the busy summer months. Very nice of them I'm sure you'll agree!

I have noticed this on a morning we are planning on going to HS.
At first I thought..crap, but actually I think it will work out better.
HS is going to be our 3rd day, maybe less able to get to rope drop so will likely be a little after rope drop.
This way, a hole bunch of people get in the park and do the big queue rides early and move on. I think this will then leave space for rope droppers (and less of them due to some booking the extra hours) to get to TSL and enjoy slighly shorter queues than could have been.
Then will will rock in haha.
Through my rose coloured lenses I see more happy people.

We did EMH in August purely to do toy story land and slinky dog wasn't working. We went back another morning and it wasn't running then either

Generally they do. Not always, but most of the time.

If you stay offsite in a similar hotel and eat similar meals, it will generally be cheaper than staying onsite. Certainly my offsite stays have been cheaper than onsite stays (not by as much as some people think, all things considered, but they do cost a bit less).

You pay extra for those onsite extras. Disney isn't actually giving them to you for free.

Generally I think most people would find offsite stays are cheaper. Of course it depends, if you are staying at a value resort and comparing it to a luxury villa, then offsite would be more expensive. But, as Nimbus commented, on site stays factor in the extras such as early park access and 60 day fast pass benefits so generally cost more.

The comment about onsite being more than offsite didn’t say ‘sometimes’ or ‘generally’. It is a statement that is always thrown around by those onsite - many of whom have never strayed away from the Disney bubble. I have priced up staying in all categories of Disney hotels compared to the villas we like to stay in and 75% of the time offsite is costing me more. But I pay for the convenience, space and privacy a villa gives me which I would never get in a hotel. I get that when you stay at Disney you get the perks - and rightfully so - but to make the sweeping statement that you are paying a premium for the extras vs offsite isn’t always true.

I didn't really think the comment needed clarifying, I felt it was a general comment. I have stayed offsite, it was much cheaper. I base my comments on my personal experiences. I realise that some off sites will be more luxurious therefore more expensive, it depends on personal preferences

Personally glad to see this and have booked it. Also booked the Extra Morning Magic for MK. As there are only DW and I both retired happy to spend the children's inheritance. For a family would have to think twice before booking.
