Group Esta with a New Passport

Sorry, it's an Esta question

So we got a new group esta for the family last summer.
Hubby and I are heading off for a sneaky week on our own soon
He needs a new passport before we go though.

When he has it, do I just do a new esta for him?
Or do I need to do a new group one?

We go back out with the kids later in the year, so I'm thinking their's should be fine too?

Thanks

When you do a group esta it’s only grouped so that you can do one payment for all of them. You still had to do an application for each person so if your DH has to get a new passport you would only need to do a new esta for him.

Thanks so much.
I was thinking that, but as we haven't done that before I wasn't 100%.

Hi Lisa, the US updated the official ESTA application, they require names within the >>chevrons>>> on the pp photo page, there's a Sample Passport diagram/text by the name question, plus an explanatory pop up opens when you click to enter names

Enjoy your 'adults only' week

All estas are individual. Group is only to allow a single payment, the estas that support it are still per person/passport, so only the passport being replaced will need a new esta.

Given your countdown, hope it’s replaced soon and give time to sort it as if it were rejected for any reason the visa process can take a long time to complete. Fingers crossed.

Thanks I know and I agree.
Hubby is holding out for the new UK passport
I'm going without him if he's refused!
