If it looks like he's interested in that there is a 'trick' you can use to get it cheaper.

Say he had Gold (and it's paid in advance for say the next 6 months), you can load the account with future Gold subscriptions. You can buy these for as little as £30 by using a VPN to use the Brazilian versions. Once you have bought up to 3 years worth of Gold you can join Ultimate for £1 on the offer that is going now. The 3 years you have in Gold will be converted over to Ultimate, meaning the next payment for ultimate will actually be in October 2023.

I'm desperately searching for an xbox series x before xmas! Managed to pre order one from Currys for DS1, at that time DS2 was adamant that he wanted something else, now he's changed his mind and would like the new xbox instead i've explained that all pre orders are sold out and we may not be able to get one for xmas but i'd feel rotten handing one to his brother if I don't manage to get another!
