50th Anniversary likely to big holiday busy?

Hey all,

What are folks opinions on being in Disney first two weeks of October?

Do you reckon it'll be as busy as peak summer, Christmas/New Year etc?

Thanks for any thoughts or knowledge x

Only my opinion, but I think if it is safe, all the Americans who didn’t get to WDW this year will be going, plus all those who planned to go for the 50th anyway.

I am hoping WDW do what Disney usually does, and celebrate it for 18 months or so! Hoping to go in 2022.

If things are back to some normality by then, I can defiantly see it being very busy.

Magic Kingdom is already fully booked for annual passholders on 1st October 2021.

Hard to predict, first off the delay to the headliners will change some peoples plans. The vaccine helps but how long will it take to vaccinate a population the size of the US ? But more importantly, looking at their politics, no stimulus package until probably early next year by which point their economy is in serious trouble, not that it isn't already, so US families could be looking at curtailing any holiday plans
I wouldn't judge on APs though, the system at the minute is set up on reduced capacity, plus I wouldn't say it's an indication of how many are going to spend $150 on a day pass IYKWIM
