On the other hand I am planning on getting the black glitter one from B and M for the other bathroom. 😂

So after doing that quick google on how much a toilet seat was, now all the adverts on my screen are for toilets. A little disconcerting on a work zoom call...

What I didn't notice was the wooden toilet seat was octaganol. Well I did notice but just thought how attractive it looked. It now needs replacing. I can only find one company that sells them and they want just under £200 for it! This seems excessive to me although it looks like I have no choice but to go for it! Unless any of you lovely people have any suggestions or indeed want to make me feel better by saying it's not a lot of money for a toilet seat!
We had the same problem around 15 years ago when we needed to replace the seat on our octagonal shaped toilet.
We looked everywhere including online but couldn’t get a wooden one.
We did manage to get a white seat which was the closest we could get shape wise but I think even that cost about £80

Do you have a picture of the toilet and seat?

We have that suite in our upstairs bathroom, the people before us fitted the bathroom so we had a shock when it came to replace the seat, the original one wasn't solid wood but was more of a veneer which split on the seam and swelled too. We've had the replacement for over 10 years with no problems.

Meant to say I rang Imperial and haggled a discount
