Not sure I'd be buying a van ice cream right now, no way can the person serving be socially distancing and think of all the germ ridden cash he is handling with the same hands he uses to give you the ice cream. I'd certainly be waiting a few months yet.

Takeaways apparently are safe because the cooking kills the virus (so long as handled correctly after cooking), no such thing when it comes to ice cream

If I could eat ice cream, I would have one.

There is a queue as long as the street for the local subway, so guess most people aren’t bothered

Our Ice cream man only takes card payments, won't give cones, or anything else not wrapped. As safe as it can be.

The ice cream man comes around our estate a couple of time’s a days but I’m not keen on them at home anyway. It’s the sort of thing I associate with the beach

There has been one on my avenue a couple of times recently. I’ve not seen anyone buy one though.

I hear it everyday around here. Often wonder what they serve. I’m guessing it’ll be wrapped items only.

There was one at the bottom of my neighbours drive when I came home. The first time I’ve ever seen one in my street. He had a Perspex screen up but a sign saying cash only. Only one guy went to him

Ours has branched out, he sells essential groceries now instead of ice cream- never seen so many disappointed children!

We had one of those “we’ll be at XYZ location today come and see us” ones that do fancy ice creams have instead been booking slots for street deliveries round here

We had one last week. Nice little treat!
