Asda Disney Tableware

[Talland 2016]

I saw the Disney dinner set and pasta bowls which I had to order online as they weren’t available in store.
One huge box arrived delivered by Yodel
I had a few concerns when I saw the state of the box and the sound of the box when I picked it up.
Dinner set was intact, however the pasta bowls didn’t survive.
Will send them back for a refund and order some more

Sadly my new plates from the Disney Store arrived similarly yesterday.

But they are melamine - imagine how much pressure had to be used to break that! Hopefully I can get it replaced in plenty of time for the sun to return and use them for a socially distanced garden BBQ.

I didn't read your writing saw the picture and thought ohh I thought they where Melamine but when I saw broke I thought wrong. That is really surprising that broke!

Are you happy with how they are wearing ie are they getting scratched?
I loved the mug design you have but it’s not showing online anymore so wondering if they have sold out so I have ordered the mugs to match the cereal bowls and plates

I've got those from Asda DH made DDs dole whip yesterday and we used the bowls for first time

Am popping to Asda to return the broken ones and have ordered some more
Unfortunately they don’t stock the dishes in my local store and when I ordered online the Click and Collect option isn’t available it’s delivery only option unfortunately so fingers crossed the next set will arrive safely

I ordered the plates and whilst they look lovely I'm not too impressed with the quality. None of the four have a smooth finish and are quite scratchy when using cutlery.

I'm keeping them though as the design makes me happy but might start to use them just for finger foods!

None of ours have scratched, we don’t have kids though so that might make a difference haha.

We have the whole set including pasta bowls and mugs.
